About the Author
After a long career in International trade Michael changed his life almost ten years ago and made the transition to becoming a writer and author of science fiction novels. Michael wrote and published a dozen business books during his career in international trade. This gave him the experience and foundation to write and publish books. Michael has written five manuscripts and he is excited about his new novel - CUBEBALL. "This novel is the one I had most fun writing." From an early age, Michael enjoyed science fiction movies, from Star Trek to Star Wars with the appeal of anticipating and imagining the future of man. “ In addition to writing, Michael enjoys helping other new and emerging writers achieve their dreams, in particular, more mature writers like himself. Combining preparatory research, travel, in-market research, writing the findings and presenting it to interested parties was a joy. Now, I do all those things and get to choose what I want to write about and where." To find out more about Michael visit his website:

Review :
Cubeball is an incredible mix of sport, gambling and technology in a futuristic world so original that I was drawn in from page one. It made me want to curl up and read with a torch all night long. A real page-turner, with well-developed characters that stayed with me long after I finished this high-stakes adventure. I can't wait to read the author's other books!

Review :
Michael Leon's new novel, Cubeball creates a vivid and entertaining picture of the future of global sport. He re-invents snooker into a fast-paced, technologically enhanced game that is viewed by massive global audiences. I particularly enjoyed the colourful characters, who seemed to come alive off the page, as they competed in an industry dominated by gambling, rampant technology and drug abuse. One of my favourite books of the year!
